Multiculturalism and immigration/refugee policies

Ever since the Commonwealth declared its adoption of a policy of multiculturalism in the 1970s, various Commonwealth, state, and local governing body measures/policies have been incorporated with elements of multiculturalism. In order to get a general image of today’s policies on multiculturalism, one must naturally take a look at the Australian Government, Department of Immigration and Border Protection (001), Department of Social Services (003), and Department of Education and Training (004) as well as various public sites administered by the Commonwealth government, ministries, and offices (002, 005, 006) and also the sites of relevant bodies of each state government (012, 013, 014, 015, 029, 030). Real-life activities regarding multicultural policies come to fruition via cooperation with various NGOs (021, 022, 024, 025, 026, 027), and ethnic organizations (020) are also indispensable for multiculturalism. New South Wales and Victoria are two states in which a relatively large number of immigrants are concentrated.
